During the launch of Android One Phones in India in sept, Google Made an announcement that they will make YouTube accessible Offline. And Now they are finally making good on its promise by introducing offline YouTube Videos.
This feature is quite easy to use & allows temporary storage of YouTube videos in mobile device to watch it later during no internet connectivity. However, Due to copyright issues and other restrictions these Videos are only accessible through YouTube Application.
Follow these steps for downloading Offline Videos to your device:
- Update YOUTUBE APP on your Device, this can be done by visiting Google Play store & choose to install YouTube Update under My Apps Section.
- Open Video you wish to download in Youtube Application.
- Click on the '+' button & then select Offline Option.
- Select Video Quality & its done.
YouTube will then automatically download the selected video to your offline category for offline viewing.
